Qatar Goodwood Festival 2015 Fashion

I cannot believe the Qatar Goodwood Festival is only one more sleep away!! I literally cannot contain my excitement, as it is without doubt my absolute favourite racing event of the year. It simply has a little bit of everything.

Before racing on Tuesday we are lucky enough to be invited to the beautiful Crimbourne Stud - home of the lovely Lady Marlene Parker and the much missed, loved and revered Sir Eric.

Wednesday evening Lord March hosts the most amazing Regency Ball, with horse racing by candlelight, and a surprise musical act from one of the most current female artists in the country.

Thursday is Ladies day and the iconic Magnolia Cup, with Friday sporting the hottest best dressed lady competition in the country, along with some of the best horse racing in the world what more could you wish for.

Let's just hope the weather stays dry!

As my hat's for this years festival have all arrived from Jenny Roberts Millinery and Vivien Sheriff , I thought it was the perfect time to look back at my outfits from last year.

Tuesday

Due to the rain, Tuesday was mainly spent in the seafood restaurant adjacent to the parade ring.

Lizzie Hughes had kindly provided me with a beautiful Dawn Guibert hat with particularly pretty hand made pink silk flowers, which I wore with a nude long sleeved Paloa dress which was perfect for the weather. Christian Louboutin nude heals and a fun Aldo Paris box clutch.

Wednesday

On Wednesday I wanted to embrace the Goodwood summer garden party vibe, so I asked Milliner Jenny Roberts if she could create me a headband made up of beautiful handmade flowers. I found the perfect dress from ASOS and left Jenny to work her magic. I could not of been happier with the results.

Lord March asked for regency, so we gave him Regency!

Thursday

I was lucky enough to wear this beautiful Vivien Sheriff ss16 hat which had only just had the final feathers applied! It is such a statement head peice definitely a dead cert to make sure you get noticed!

I wore this show stopper with a Chi Chi London dress Furla handbag and Steve Madam shoes.

Friday

Friday was L'Ormarins day which means one thing 'blue & white'!!! Jenny Roberts made me this lovely Boater with spotted lace which matched my asos belt perfectly. My dress was a bargain from Sainsburys teamed with Aldo shoes and a Chanel Lego clutch.

We had a fantastic day in the Qatar racing box, and I even had the added bonus of making it into the final ten in the best dressed competition.

I am currently writing this post whilst en  route to my home for the next week 'West Marden Farm House' , if you are attending Goodwood please do come and say hello, and definitely tag me in your photos using #furlongfashion

With Love

Rebecca
