Bank Holiday At Beverley

Last bank holiday Saturday saw a last minute trip to Beverley races. After throwing half of my wardrobe onto the bed and proclaiming that I had nothing to wear! Clearly this was not the case. I remembered that Chi Chi London had sent me a beautiful, pale blue lace Lilly dress in the week.

I tried it on and it fit perfectly, the next question was what to wear it with, as it is still not quite warm enough not to wear a jacket or a coat.

I teamed my Chi Chi London dress with an River Island white trench coat from ASOS, White clutch bag and White Dune pointed stilettos.

It turned out to be a fantastic day. Scott had only got one runner, which was in the feature race - The Hilary Needler, which is always a pretty hot 2 year old race race, with the winner almost always going to Royal Ascot. So when Socialites Red finished third we were delighted. She is such a lovely little filly who always tries her hardest.

Chi Chi London have some fantastic dresses which are perfect for the races, and I very much expect that we will see many of them at Royal Ascot throughout the week.

Here are a few examples of how I would style them.
