The New Chanel Boy Bag Campaign - But who is the Lucky Horse!!

The new Spring 2013 campaign features British Mod , punk-rock Drummer, model and  "It" girl Alice Dellal

Did I mention Alice Dellal now gets to add the title of muse for the Chanel Boy Bag to her long list of attributes.

The Campaign also features British model Jake Davies as the gorgeous stable boy.

The Equestrian theme normally tends to be with brands such as Hermes and Gucci, but Chanel have obviously realised that there is no better accessory in a girls life than a beautiful horse, oh and a wardrobe full of Chanel bags - especially the new Boy Bag.

In reality Chanel's new forrary into the equestrian was by the early years of Coco herselfWhile living with a friend who bred horses, she became a very good horsewoman.

The images also call to mind the famous photos of Coco Chanel riding horses with Boy Capel.

Alice Dellal isn't the typical 'lady' that Chanel usually tipifies; she does however bring a strong modern twist to what could have otherwise been a quilted copy of a Gucci ad. The campaign sees Dellal classically styled in true Chanel fashion, effortlessly arranged in a series of monochromatic romantic images.

The Boy bag naturally will not be outshone by an 'it' girl or even a rather large horse - I think it cements it's place as yet another iconic 'it' bag from Chanel. It takes centre Stage.

Chanel's website gives us some preview images of the bags that have just hit stores, and they are exactly what you would expect from the Spring / Summer 2013 trends - Primary colours, mixed with a little monochrome.

This campaign has me swooning over this bag more than ever.
