Fashion Coverage From Day One Of The 2015 Grand National

Let's kick off our 2015 Aintree Grand National coverage with day ones fashion hits.

Unfortunately I will not be attending this years Grand National festival, so I will be relying on official photos and racegoers sending in there pictures from the day.

This year the bosses at Aintree Racecourse vowed to get tough and kick out photographers who set out to humiliate Ladies Day racegoers.

Managing Director at Aintree John Baker says it’s time to stamp out the unfair coverage which has surrounded the event in recent years.

And he says the racecourse will do everything it can to protect women from feeling intimidated and mocked by cruel national media images.

“We want to overwhelm the negativity, to push the positivity to the front,” he told the Liverpool Echo.

Let's hope they follow this through throughout the festival.

With the racecourse's emphasis on 'Chanel-style looks' let's take a look at my favourite fashion from day 1 of the Crabbies Grand National.

Gok Wan and X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson will be on course at Aintree for the first time tomorrow as they are set to judge the Aintree Ladies Day Style Contest. The lucky winner will drive off in a Mini roadster and collect £6,000 of prizes from Liverpool One.
