June Glossybox Review

The June 2014 GlossyBox arrived just before Royal Ascot, which was the perfect opportunity to test the products out on.

GlossyBox had released a few hints as to what would be included, also promising that 3 out of the 5 products in the box would be full sized. so I was very excited to receive mine.

This month GlossyBox are embracing the great British summer. They have curated their June Box to help you update your summer beauty routine in one easy step.

So what are we waiting for lets see what was inside!!!

Nailgirls 3-in-1 base/topcoat & nail strengthener – I have my nails done using Shellac at Klasse Spa so this product isn't something I will really find much use from. Although I did try it out in between my nail appointments. It had a lovely shine and is chemical free, which was great for me as normal nail varnish products send my miniature dachshund Poppy into a sneezing frenzie, so I can imagine this product would be great for mothers with young children, or ladies whose partners hate the smell of nail varnish!
Full Size Product  £13.50 for 15ml nailgirls.co.uk

TeeezTrend Cosmetics Flat Stiff Brush – I love makeup brushes so when I spotted this premium quality brush in the box I was over the moon. This is a beautiful brush for applying powder and cream eye shadow! The bristles are tightly packed together, making it fairy easy to apply, and the packaging is adorable. The handle has a beautiful design of flamingos, lips and eye makeup all over it ensuring you will never lose it inside your makeup bag. Full Size Product €19 nelly.com

L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Black - 'Why not volumize when you can millionise' yet another mascara slogan that my boyfriend Scott find highly amusing. I have to admit I do love a good mascara and am always open to try new ones. This one did exactly what it says on the package, it did not clump and it helped lashes to stay separated.
Full Size Product £10.99 superdrug.com

So Susan Cosmetics Concealer Quad – Upon first glance I had no idea what was hiding underneath such beautiful packaging. This concealer quad definitely came in handy at Royal Ascot especially on day four after numerous days of entertaining. The concealer achieved great coverage of any unwanted blemishes and dark circles, and can also be used as an all in one contouring kit. Full Size Product - £20 sosusan.com

Rituals - Qi-Gong Spray - It was a pleasant surprise to find a deodorant in this months box as it was the perfect size to carry in my handbag at Royal Ascot! This is a light scented summery floral anti-perspirant spray, which also delivers 24 hours protection. I loved the fresh scent which is infused with white lotus and yi yi ren and would definitely purchase it again for those hot summer days at the races.
Full Size Travel Product £3.50 50ml rituals.com
