Day One Glorious Goodwood 2014

The sun most definitely had his hat on, on Day 1 of Glorious Goodwood.

The day started out bright and early with a wonderful trip to Sir Eric Parkers yearling parade. All of the horses were exceptionally well behaved and beautifully turned out. I just need to win the lottery to be able to afford my pic of the parade!

I chose to wear a Red Lace dress from Adrianna Papell teamed with a vintage Marzi Hat, Christian Louboutin heals and a Chanel Bag.

It was nice to catch up with Carla Kyle who was wearing a Beth Morgan hat that she had purchased from ebay, an ASOS Dress teamed with lime green Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Threes Grand was running for Scott and his owners Robin and Jayne Jackson in the last and was lead up by the lovely Flo. 

Threes Grand won best turned out with Scott and her owner Jayne looking lovely in purple, to match Jayne's racing colours. (Scott's shirt and Tie are both from Thomas Pink)

Unfortuately the going was a little too firm for Threes Grand, with a track record almost being set in the 5f sprint. 

The day was topped off by a nice meal at the Kennels and a great day was had by all. 

Now all sights are set on day 2 and the Goodwood Regency Ball.
